I know we said it last night but we both wanted to tell you again how much we appreciate all that you did. We could not be more pleased with the amount of guests and the fact that they were quality people connected to a large network of others. At one point I was on the patio with Holden looking back into the house. It was full of people drinking, eating and engaging in conversation and I thought “this is exactly what the original owners intended this house to be used for”. It was heartwarming and a little sad at the same time.

We had remodeled our house to meet our mid-century modern tastes but had to sell it much sooner than expected. As such, we had a few areas of the house that was not remodeled to match the whole. Was it worth remodeling those areas as well to try to raise the price of the house? Fortunately for us, we met Ed Murchison. He had the knowledge and resources to help us figure out what to update due to his eye for aesthetic mid century modern upgrades, his knowledge of the greater DFW area, and more importantly, his honesty. I read that one of the tests to know if a realtor has your best interests in mind is how they set your expectations for the sale of your house. Ed came in with price per square foot of homes the area, the premium I can expect for mid century modern, where it would be worthwhile upgrading, and where the focus of the house should be. There were even some areas that we didn’t realize could be easily upgraded for maximum effects. They then had beautiful photos taken of our house, which then turned into a high quality, glossy trifold which we found very impressive. Perhaps even more important, he has a personal network of potential buyers that ended up putting bids on the house the day BEFORE our house went on the market. Both Ed and Mark went above and beyond our expectations and really took the stress out of selling our home. We sold our house extremely quickly and ended up making much more than expected on our house.
